Tell us what your business does?

Websimple designs and develops Websites, eCommerce Solutions and Mobile applications for Irish and International Customers. We love partnering with new startup companies who can rely on our technical expertise.  We want to keep our prices low and build up a loyal customer base. 

Where did the idea for your business come from?

We wanted to build a platform on which we could develop Mobile Applications and eCommerce solutions. We believe that by partnering with startups we can both grow our business and develop ongoing business relationships based on our technology platforms.

Have you always wanted to run your own business?

We come from large multinational corporate backgrounds but have an entrepreneurial spirit. We want to grow this business to a sustainable level and start to employ more people.

What planning did you do before you started up?

We looked at our Peers and what services they are offering and the prices they are charging. We decided to focus initially on the lower end of the price scale so we can build up a customer base and experience as its a very competitive market.

Which entrepreneurs do you admire?

I think technology & internet innovators such as Sean Parker, Larry Page and Sergey Bin.

What challenges have you faced & how have you overcome them?

We have self funded the business initially from our own savings so that hasn’t been so much of a challenge to seed the business. I think the costs of Online Advertising in the early stages can be a challenge to fund from your ongoing operating profits, so its a balance between what you spend and what you gain from it. The other main challenge has been where to focus our business

How have you promoted your business?

We have primary leveraged Google Ad words and Facebook and are starting also to use local advertising. Given the market is fairly saturated we also believe in the word of mouth and we are always striving to give a 5 star service every time at really competitive prices.

Are you optimistic about 2017?

Yes, very much so. There is more and more demand for internet based services and eCommerce and we are well positioned to support this.

What advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

Believe in yourself and have a long term vision that you strive towards.
